      I watched a youtube video by Raremark Health titled  Holly's Story: My Experience with MG Treatments. I chose this video because of the title and the interest to hear more about treatments and how the clients feel.We are currently learning about Myasthenia Gravis (MG), which is known to be a chronic autoimmune neuromuscular disorder and this video drew my attention to get to know a bit more details about it. Knowing more about treatments for various disorders are very interesting to me because it's all a process and there's a lot of learning and experiences with them. In this video, Holly spoke about the symptoms she had, which was double vision ,her journey with MG from diagnoses through the whole journey and treatments that were approved.        I watched this Ted talk video on youtube titled "Thriving in the Face of Adversity" which was by Stephanie Buxhoeveden. I chose this resource because the title caught my attention and i wanted to learn more after I read the summary about when she was first diagnosed with Multiple Sclerosis. In this TEDx Talk she spoke about her story of being 25 years and got into a nursing anesthesia school, and enjoyed working out to relax. one day while working out right foot fell asleep and never woke back up and the pain in few weeks, started to spread to the next. She swept it away and didn't pay attention. She realized she had no feelings from waist down one day as she was in the locker room getting ready. She started having problems with her arms and vision. She went through painful tests and was diagnosed with Multiple sclerosis. She talked about how it all occurred in the prime of her life.               I watched a youtube video titled "Groom Paralyzed Playing Football Walks Down The Aisle: Inside Chris Norton's Story" posted by People. It is a video about college football player who got hurt during the game and became paralyzed. He had  a fracture of the vertebras C3 and C4 which are known to be one of the most severe fractures anyone could get so he was told he only had three percent chance of moving anything below his neck again, but after 7 years, he walks his bride 7-yards down the aisle. This made me understand the impact of support system and also motivation.        To learn more, I watched his full story on Netflix which gave more details about his life story and details.         I watched a youtube video titled "Dad Living with Parkinson's".  This video is about a 48-year old man names Andy McDowell who is a marketing consultant, husband and a father of two young girls and lives with early onset Parkinson's. Andy has trouble with uncontrolled movement and lacks coordination. While driving, he complains about his hands shaking and trouble with his right leg. Andy is still able to work but he talks about being able to spend more time with his children since he was diagnosed. He hoped to qualify for Deep Brain Stimulation, which is a surgery to help improve his uncontrolled movements and lack of coordination. To learn more, I did some reading about the Deep Brain Stimulation and more information about people living with Parkinson's Disease.
