     I watched a youtube video titled "Groom Paralyzed Playing Football Walks Down The Aisle: Inside Chris Norton's Story" posted by People. It is a video about college football player who got hurt during the game and became paralyzed. He had  a fracture of the vertebras C3 and C4 which are known to be one of the most severe fractures anyone could get so he was told he only had three percent chance of moving anything below his neck again, but after 7 years, he walks his bride 7-yards down the aisle. This made me understand the impact of support system and also motivation.

     To learn more, I watched his full story on Netflix which gave more details about his life story and details. The first lecture about Spinal Cord Injury really made me curious about spinal cord injuries and people who experience it. It makes me think of how fragile we can be. In relation to course content, I learnt that exercise is very important and plays a major role in recovery and rehabilitation. I would recommend this for others as part of their learning process because the story is very impacting and there's a lot to learn. It also gives real life experience.

     This is a TEDx talk about ADHD in girls and women by Martha Barnard-Rae. She first talked about her being someone with ADHD and what women and girls with ADHD feel especially with the act that most of the women, hyperactivity is not seen physical but rather in mind and studies including women didn't actually start till late 1990s.  To get more knowledge, I looked over our study guide from class about ADHD which we covered recently that explained what ADHD is and some processes, a personal story of a friend of mine who was diagnosed with ADHD and some other resources on ADHD in women and girls. Ensuring a Safe Transfer

       In transfers, we move an individual from one surface to the other safely. It's important that any transfer made is safe and very efficient. Here are are somethings a therapist consider while performing transfer to be safe and effective.        To ensure a safe and efficient transfer, the therapist should know the patient's capabilities and information. This begins with the therapist understanding the client's balance, strength, body type, endurance, Range of Motion, where the therapist tests the limit or extent the client's joint moves around, orthortics/prosthetics, their wheel chair style and learning style.
